About Us
Wordbridge: Lethbridge Writers' Conference is an annual conference held in Lethbridge, Alberta. It seeks to connect the writing community of Southern Alberta and to provide opportunities for writers to meet one another and to learn together.
Conference Highlights
Drabble
Write and submit a one hundred word story that must include, "It was a dark and stormy night..."
Top three winners will receive a prize bundle. Submissions close March 28, 2025.
Live Action Slush
In live action slush, you'll have the chance to submit a page of your writing to our panelists for a live critique of what works and what doesn't.
First page should be double-spaced and 12pt. font. Please print it off and submit at the start of the panel.
Blue Pencil Cafe
Fifteen minute one-on-one feedback from a professional editor on your first three pages.
Please submit double-spaced in 12pt. font by the deadline: March 14, 2025.
Quiet Writing Space
Feeling inspired? Great! Make use of our dedicated quiet writing space. Whether those creative writing juices are flowing, or you just want to experience writing alongside other authors, this room is for you.
Games
For the first time, Wordbridge will be hosting games during the conference. More details to come!

1. Please read the Stipulations and Expectations before registering. (Those signed up will take turns helping at the table.)
2. Please complete the Author Table Registration Form and bring a completed copy to Wordbridge.
3. Please print the Author Table Reconciliation Form and bring it with you as well.
